Real estate runs deep in my family, along with strong community roots. I am a former high school English teacher who decided to pursue my intense interest in houses, and working with people. This put me right in line with my grandmother who started a successful real estate company in Florida, and my mother who practiced real estate in the California Bay Area. As a Bend, OR real estate broker and a mother of two boys, I understand the importance of finding the right neighborhood and school district.
My father emigrated here from Germany, and owned restaurants full of immigrant workers from many countries, so from early on, I’ve gained a unique ability to be comfortable with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds. I am personable, friendly, and outgoing, with a wide range of interests: I am an avid runner, downhill skier, soccer player and coach. I am actively involved in my children’s schools and advocate for families and children with special needs. I also love to read and know a good deal about wines (two interests that combine well for a relaxing evening!)
